Ahhhh......the late 60's and early 70's.....Rowan and Martin's Laugh In....All In The Family......If you remember those days and those TV shows you probably have Sock It To Me Cakesome vague memory of this cake.   You know what?   It's still divinely yummy!!!!    It's easy to make too!!   Treat your family today.

   1             box           Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Yellow Cake
 3/4           cup           oil
 1/2           pint          sour cream
 1/2          cup           sugar
   4           large         eggs -- room temperature
                    
   2          tablespoons   brown sugar
1 1/2      teaspoons      cinnamon

1.  Beat sugar, oil and sour cream until well blended.

2. Add cake mix and beat.   Beat eggs in one at a time, beating well after each addition.
   Beat till batter is smooth and fluffy.

Generously butter and flour a bunt pan.  

3.  Mix together in a small bowl the brown sugar and cinnamon.

3.  Pour HALF THE BATTER into the bunt pan.    Sprinkle the cinnamon brown sugar mixture evenly over the batter.  (if you would like you can add some chopped pecans here as well).     Add the rest of the cake mixture carefully and evenly over the top of the cinnamon mixture.

Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a cake plate.     

Mix powdered sugar with a little warm water to make a glaze and drizzle over cooled cake.
